ABOUT Reading and District Association (RDAA)
The Reading and District Association owns or leases some 25 miles of the River Kennet, River Thames, River Loddon and Kennet & Avon Canal – as well as 14 lakes – comprising some of the most varied and finest fishing in the south of England. See for your self and visit these pages: VENUES
With a year on average of 1500 members, with our number of waters, we can ensure bank space for everyone
The Association caters for all types of coarse anglers, the pleasure angler, the match angler and the specimen hunter. Even the angler who likes to, or can only fish at night.
We also have a team of fully qualified angling coaches that roll out junior angling tuition throughout the season, details of this can be found here in the JUNIOR SECTION

We no longer sell the Permits and day tickets. You have to buy them online. All information is on the Rdaa website. We do issue the Keys in the shop all you have to do is pop down with your email conformation from Rdaa and membership number and we can give you a key free of charge.
Fishing Lakes – Reading and District Association
Whitley Mill Lake
Location: Hurst (RG10 0RA)
Whitley Mill is a 27 acre lake in Hurst. That holds some stunning Fish carp up to High Thirties . A good traditional pit that also has a good head of Tench and Bream . Also a good Venue for pike fishing . With the River Loddon running down the side of the Lake you are spoilt for choice . Barbel and chub fishing can be good . If you put a bit of time and effort in you will reep the rewards.
